Since its official opening on 21 Sep 1980, Al-Muttaqin Mosque is still a prominent place in promoting the Islamic knowledge and activities for our Muslims’ residing around Ang Mo Kio area. It not only attracted the locals but as well as foreign Muslims’ who came here. Al-Muttaqin Mosque Management Board (MMB) has always shown the commitment to build up the community with full dedication.

Al-Muttaqin mosque also organized various activities which benefitted the Malay/Muslim community specifically and other communities in general. For the past 30 years, many of our Muslim residents have benefitted from our activities such as :

kindergarten classes for children full and part-time religious classes daily and monthly kuliah/lectures authorised zakat collection centre

food ration for the low income group, assistance for the disabled and poor family activities for the youth/adult the homeopathy free clinic for public
